Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the process of word formation in terms of internal structure for Korean onomatopoeia and mimetic words. People use language to express and exchange their feelings and emotions. At this time, onomatopoeia and mimetic words are the ones that express emotions or emotions more delicately and effectively. In other words, people can live a richer language life through onomatopoeia and mimetic words. In particular, compared to other languages, onomatopoeia and mimetic words are very developed in Korean. In addition, you can see that onomatopoeia and mimetic words are used in many areas other than conversations in everyday life. Onomatopoeia and mimetic words can accurately and realistically express the contents of the news even in a short form, so it can be seen that it is often used as a news title.
