The article is devoted to the features of distance education technology used in the higher professional education system. The main advantages of distance education technology, the interaction of the teacher and student on information and education in the interactive mode, the role of individual education in achieving the effectiveness of educational activities are shown. It is noted that distance education technologies should meet methodological requirements such as conceptuality, consistency, manageability, efficiency, reproducibility and interactivity. An analysis of the advantages of using this technology in comparison with the traditional approach of distance education is given. When writing the article, factor analysis was carried out to detail and use methods of distance education technologies in the field of training of higher education specialists.
