Abstract

To assess the uncertainty of measurements in test and calibration laboratories, the calibration laboratory or test laboratory performing its own calibrations shall have a procedure for estimating measurement errors and apply it to all measurements in the concentration range. Validation in testing and calibration laboratories is the process of verifying that certain requirements of a specific intended use are being met and providing objective evidence.
